Wassup fans? Although I spend most of my time posting here at the Rookie Chronicles, I also have a blog up on Raptors.com that I will be posting on from time to time. Here’s my latest post:
I just finished getting some shots up here in Las Vegas and I’m now in my hotel room watching SportsCenter and coming at you with my latest blog.
Summer League so far has been great, fun and exciting. It’s been a huge learning process for me and I’m just soaking it all in.
I can’t think of one highlight yet, but it’s been a thrill to get out there and throw on a Raptors jersey and get out doing what I love to do.
But that doesn’t mean it’s not hard work. I know whatever my weaknesses are at the end of Summer League, that’s what I’m going to spend the rest of my summer working to improve on.

What’s up everyone? Had a lot of fun playing my second summer league game. I picked it up a bit after my rusty game 1. Did you guys get a chance to watch the game? If not, here are few game highlights and a post game interview with my man David Aldridge.

RookieChronicles.com will be reaching out to various bloggers from each rookie’s new teams throughout the year. Here’s what some of the Raptors bloggers had to say after their team selected DeMar DeRozan:
AltRaps from Raptors Republic
DeRozan has already experienced somewhat of a rollercoaster ride in Toronto. If there is one thing that always shocks rookies or free agents when they come here is how passionate the fans are. If people hear or see one slight against the city or the country, it’s game over. Prior to DeMar coming to work out for us, there was talk that he had no interest in coming to play in Toronto, so he wasn’t going to accept a workout invitation. He was still looked at as a possible pick, which prompted us to poll our readers asking what to do if he was available at 9. 215 wanted us to draft him anyway, while 106 wanted us to choose someone who “wanted to come here”. Of course, he eventually did come for a solo workout. While here he stated he loved Toronto and it was like a mini NYC. We poll again and, this time, 87% of readers want him over the other 4 possible choices listed by Colangelo. Needless to say, we wanted DeRozan.

Wassup everybody? Friday was a crazy day. I flew from New York to Toronto and had my first Raptors media session. I also was interviewed by Raptors broadcasters Devlin and Hamilton for the first time. During the interview I told them why I decided to stick with my jersey number from SC. Here’s video of the interview:
