What’s up fans? At this year’s draft my agent gave me a flip cam to record some behind the scenes footage for my fans. Here’s a look at some of the video I recorded
Wassup blog fam? Life has been kind of hectic since the draft. The day after the draft I went over to meet with the New Jersey Nets and the local media. At the press conference I got my first official NBA Jersey. I’m going to be wearing number 8. Number 8 is all about reminding me about where I came from. First, my family was on section 8 when I was younger. For those of you that don’t know what that is, just enter section 8 into Google. To go from that to being in the NBA is an amazing feeling. I just never want to lose sight of that. As well, everyone knows I grew up in Seattle. The Seattle area code is 206. Those numbers add up to eight, so #8 just felt right. During the draft, DeMar and Terrence sent out tweets about Gatorade bottles they saw in the green room. Here are their tweets about the bottles:
DeMar: Checking out new Gatorade bottles honoring MJ going to the hall if fame. Pretty sweet. Gotta love Be like Mike. Guy here says those MJ Gatorade bottles are limited and drop in a few weeks. Keep an eye out.
Terrence: Have you seen those new Gatorade MJ bottles? Got an early look an they are SICK. Going to try to get myself a set of all 6.

DeRozan has already experienced somewhat of a rollercoaster ride in Toronto. If there is one thing that always shocks rookies or free agents when they come here is how passionate the fans are. If people hear or see one slight against the city or the country, it’s game over. Prior to DeMar coming to work out for us, there was talk that he had no interest in coming to play in Toronto, so he wasn’t going to accept a workout invitation. He was still looked at as a possible pick, which prompted us to poll our readers asking what to do if he was available at 9. 215 wanted us to draft him anyway, while 106 wanted us to choose someone who “wanted to come here”. Of course, he eventually did come for a solo workout. While here he stated he loved Toronto and it was like a mini NYC. We poll again and, this time, 87% of readers want him over the other 4 possible choices listed by Colangelo. Needless to say, we wanted DeRozan. Wassup everybody? Friday was a crazy day. I flew from New York to Toronto and had my first Raptors media session. I also was interviewed by Raptors broadcasters Devlin and Hamilton for the first time. During the interview I told them why I decided to stick with my jersey number from SC. Here’s video of the interview:

Life can sometimes be unfair for Terrence Williams.
Fans in New Jersey are expecting him to “replace” Vince Carter. That’s unfair.
He has said he modeled his game after Magic Johnson, raising unfair expectations.
